The proceedings of the Salt Water Intrusion Meeting

The SWIM proceedings span a period of almost 40 years. The proceedings of the first informal meeting consisted of a few pages in German. Successive meetings all had regular proceedings. They provide an excellent overview of the developments in the research of saline groundwater over the past decades.

At the 18th SWIM in Cartagena it was agreed that efforts will be undertaken to make all SWIM proceedings available through the internet. Currently, the proceedings of the 15th, 16th, 17th, 20th, and 21st SWIM and the abstracts of the 18th and 19th SWIM are available from this web site. The proceedings of other meetings will become available as soon as they have been digitized.
